Essential Gear

Players are provided a uniform top to borrow for the season. High school players play in a navy skort and navy and white socks. Middle school players can play in dark-colored athletic shorts (navy or black), but also need navy and white socks.

Order skorts and socks here by July 31.

Mouth guards (get an extra!) and shin guards are also required. Cleats are highly recommended for grass play. On turf, tennis shoes or turf shoes are needed. High schoolers must wear googles.

Where to find the essential gear?

Chelsea Field Hockey has beginner sticks and shin guards for loan at Whip-It Camp and for rent during the fall season.  Sticks and shin guards are each $5 (rental fee).  A limited supply is available.
