The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced its High School National Academic Squad this month, recognizing senior and junior student-athletes from across the nation. Three of Chelsea Field Hockey’s players were honored: Outgoing co-captains Payton Doan and Alex Chalogianis and incoming co-captain Molly Latimer.
The National Academic Squad program honors high school seniors and juniors who have achieved a minimum cumulative, unweighted Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 out of 4.0 or the equivalent through the first quarter of the 2018-2019 school year.
Doan and Latimer were also recognized as a Scholars of Distinction for earning a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.9 out of 4.0 or the equivalent through the first quarter of the 2018-2019.
Way to go, Bulldogs!
