Summer conditioning requires a lot of running to prepare for the fall season. Concerned that the annual Play4TheCure game to raise money for cancer research would be canceled or limit fan attendance due to Covid-19, the high school athletes challenged one another to a month-long Run-A-Thon. Together, during a 30-day dollars-for-miles outreach, they raised $4,365 for the National Foundation for Cancer Research's Play4TheCure that specifies 100% raised goes to research. 

Since 2015, Chelsea Field Hockey with the support of the Chelsea and field hockey communities has raised $23,215.01. Now that's teamwork!
