This is an exciting year for changes in the field hockey community with Chelsea High School athletes now competing in Division 2 and in the Southeastern Conference. Also, the Beach Middle School team has exciting developments:
 

*Coach Brian Boos is head coach. Sergei Lie resigned to have more time with his growing family. Coach Boos has since completed USA Field Hockey Level 1 and 2 training.

* Practices will be very convenient -- on the BMS fields.

* Practices begin August 26 and will be 5 days a week (unless there is a scheduled game).

* Home games will be at Pierce Lake field and the CHS Stadium (if Varsity is hosting a team).
