Team15 Wins Semifinals! State Finals Bound: October 26, 11:00 a.m., at CHS Stadium in Chelsea
It was a beautiful night for field hockey, a glorious night for Play4TheCure. Honey Creek baked and sold goodies, Huron collected from their fans and the Chelsea community and other field hockey friends rallied to contribute a record-setting amount of money raised through our annual Play4TheCure efforts. Friends near and far donated online, fans took home painted pumpkins, wristbands were sold in the stands, fans generously donated large bills and checks at the gates and the tally is in!
Our Play4TheCure campaign and 10/10 games raised $5,686.84 for cancer research -- smashing our $3,000 goal.
Since 2015, we have raised $18,850.01 to find cures for cancers.

CFH's Fab 5 defenders, Kendra Patterson, Nina Faupel, Ava Woodard, Stella Moore and Megan Vogel, kept the team in play for the exciting battle on the home pitch at CHS Stadium. Goalkeeper Faupel had numerous saves in the net.
Skyline earned a goal in the first half. On a penalty corner, Maddie Vogel tipped in a drive from Kendra Patterson to tie up the game with roughly two minutes left in regulation play. With zero time left on the clock, Skyline earned a penalty corner. The first shot was saved by Faupel. A rebound shot made it in for the winning goal.
The young team of six juniors and 13 sophomores and freshmen rallied this past week, playing their best hockey of the season in tough, physical competitions.
